Frequently Asked Questions We Get

  • Our Beginner’s Yoga class is the best starting point for those new to yoga. This class gives new students a great foundation to build on.

  • Bring your mat, a small hand towel and any other yoga props that you have. Don’t have any yoga equipment yet? We have you covered! Mats and props are available to rent.

  • Comfort is key. Wear anything you can move freely in.

  • If you are new to the studio, plan on arriving 10 minutes early to fill out registration paperwork.

  • Yoga practice is best done on an empty/near-empty stomach. Heavy meals should be eaten 2-hours or more before class. It is ok to have a light snack (fresh fruit, crackers, etc.) closer to class time.

  • Yes. We offer modifications and props to help ensure a safe practice.

  • Yes, if they are attending as a student. The minimum age to attend adult classes is 13 years old and some exceptions may be made. Please contact us in advance to discuss bringing your child with you to class.

  • Class reservations should be canceled at least 45-minutes prior to the start time of the class. You can cancel online or by calling the studio at (301) 574-FLOW (3569). No calls no shows will be deducted from passes no exceptions.

  • We hold true to our values that yoga is for everyone and all should feel welcomed. We simply ask you join us in creating a warm environment for all.

    If you’ve been practicing for years and want to improve your skills, we welcome you.

    And, if you’re ready to share your knowledge with others as a teacher, we welcome you.

    Should you need to scale back your pace of yoga due to an injury or medical condition please let us know and we’ll guide you. If you need accommodations like props, chairs, or pose modifications let us know at time of booking or start of a class.
